Relax Leak Sealer is the best swimming pool repair product available to repair SMALL leaks in pool walls, floors and especially pipework. If you are losing water in Your Swimming Pool but not sure where, Relax Leak Sealer can prevent a frustrating, time consuming and expensive process which may require excavation to find a potentially small leak.

Relax Leak Sealer cannot repair a torn Liner.

It cannot be guaranteed to fix every leak, but it may be the best option before calling out an expensive pool engineer.

Relax Leak Sealer is used to fix leaks in the shell and/or plumbing and will seal holes 1/8" in diameter. Once sealed the bond is permanent.

Fix a Leak is imported from the USA so the measurements on the bottle are based on quarts. To convert to litres x by 1.1326. 1 x 32oz bottle will treat 17,500 litres of water. Do not use in excess of 1 quart per 5,000 gallons of water.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Important: Bypass filter when using this product. Leak Sealer is not recommended to repair torn vinyl swimming pool liners, for this you must use a vinyl repair kit.

Relax Leak Sealer is designed to seal minor leaks (where the water level drops less than 2.5cm per day in a 60,000 litre pool). Larger defects will require proper plumbing and maintenance repairs.

1. Turn pool pump off. Remove any automatic pool cleaner from the pool.
2. SET THE FILTER ON BY-PASS OR RE-CIRCULATE SETTING. If neither of these settings are available then remove the filter grids or cartridges from the filter prior to commencing treatment. NOTE: Fine fountain jets will block when leak sealer is applied. If these jets cannot be removed then do not use this product.

3. Leak Sealer should be added to the pool at the rate of 1 litre per 60,000 litres of pool water. There are two methods of application depending on the location of the leak.

1. a) LEAK IN POOL WALLS OR FLOOR – Add the leak sealer directly into the pool water. Where it is possible to locate the area of the leak then add the product in this area. Otherwise distribute the product evenly around the pool.

1. b) LEAK IN PIPEWORK – Add the correct dose of leak sealer directly into the skimmer. Leak sealer is a heavy product that will collect at the deep end. To ensure maximum effectiveness circulate the product as follows. Set up a pool vacuum hose (with a vacuum head attached) as for normal cleaning. Place the vacuum head at the deepest point in the pool. Ensure the hose is free of air. This method ensures maximum circulation through the pipework. If unsure of the location of the leak use method b.

4. Wait 30 minutes and then turn the pump on. Leave the pump running for a minimum of 8 hours.

5. Mark the water level and check after 24 hours.
6. A second application may be required in larger pools.
7. Return the filter setting to normal once the leak sealer has taken effect and resume normal filtration. Swimming may be resumed 24 hours after addition of product.

VERY IMPORTANT: After sealing a suction leak "it" is a must to leave suction off the repaired line for no less than 48 hrs. Relax Leak Sealer requires time to cure and harden.

Miscellaneous Leaks:
If you suspect a leak around fittings inside the pool (such as return fittings) lights, skimmer(s) or steps, etc. Shut down pump, apply Relax Leak Sealer directly to the leak using a squeeze bottle, similar to a ketchup bottle.
Allow a minimum of 48 hrs. to cure before starting up circulation.
